Otis - Jay Z - Kanye West (Audio)
So the verdicts are out, some say they hate the new song by Jay Z, and Kanye, Others say they love the No Hook fashion...Well we say Jay Z, and Hov Did exactly what they always do, Drop something Left of the competition, Raise the debates, and takeover from the arguments! This is what hip hop needs whether you like it or not, its these type of moves where you argue about the wordplay, and the simplicity. Where the new age argues the song doesn't have a catchy bass line, but hip hop official's scream for more of that "1994 Rap"
We personally here at Indytrack hustle and Over Time Grind, are just happy not to hear another Auto Tune Track from Yeezy Explaining some diabolical moment in life while he is overseas chillin lol. Just give us that old school Cocky My flow is better than your Kanye for a while...To Us Otis is not MJ from the Free Throw Line...But it is a easy Between The Legs 360 Dunk. Especially comparing to the other music that's springing a leak!

"One wants to make us believe in lost myths
Parts of history are corrupted and re-examined
From Ramses to Mandela,
So many unspoken truths
By being unaware of the original story,
one wanders without goal
Makeda was queen, beautiful and powerful
Solomon dreamed of her black skin
I sing to revive the memories
To exhume knowledge
That the spiral of time erases
The Queen of Sheba lives in me
Makeda lives in me.
Let us revive our memory
The history should be changed
History is being deformed by words….No
The knowledge and wisdom are within reach
Listen and pay attention
Makeda was queen, beautiful and powerful
Solomon dreamed of her black skin
I sing to revive the memories
To exhume knowledge
That the spiral of time erases
The Queen of Sheba lives in me
Makeda lives in me.
My people dance and sing
They express their joy
Far from ignorance
They show their faith
Blessed with men and values
We repair the errors
Sons and daughters you and me
Ready for the fight
Makeda was queen, beautiful and powerful
Solomon dreamed of her black skin
I sing to revive the memories
To exhume knowledge
That the spiral of time erases
The Queen of Sheba lives in me
Makeda lives in me.

Producer of Leona Lewis' 'Collide' Responds to Plagiarism Rumor
Leona Lewis has recently dropped a fresh dance track called "Collide", but the release was marred with accusation that the song was a rip-off. It was reported that the new single was a copy of another up-beat track called "Penguin" by up-and-coming Swedish DJ Avicii aka Tim Berg.

"Collide" is produced by Sandy Vee and written by Autumn Rowe. Fuming over the plagiarism allegation, Sandy wrote on his Twitter to slam those spreading the rumor. "Talk only if you know what u r talking about....if not shut up. FYI , check the credits, u will find Tim Berg, Autumn and I," he tweeted.
The copycat rumor was first run exclusively by Digital Spy. "Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Scott Mills have been playing 'Penguin' for months now, but this week we've realized Simon Cowell and Leona Lewis have stolen our record. 'Collide' is identical to Avicii's track!" a source told the publication.
While Sandy has already responded to the plagiarism rumor, Leona herself still kept silent. Instead of throwing a rant, the former "The X Factor" winner focused on those being supportive. "Sending everyone love and big bunny hugs! Thank u for all the support and love on here! Hope u enjoy #collide let the summer fun begin! xxx," she wrote.

"I Wanna Be Down" is the debut song performed by American singer Brandy. It was co-written and produced by Keith Crouch and Kipper Jones for the singer's self-titled debut studio album, Brandy (1994), and released as its lead single during the third quarter of 1994 (see 1994 in music). Atlantic Records decided to produce two music videos for the single. The original clip was directed by Keith Ward and premiered prior to the single's official release in September 1994. In the following months another video for a remix of the song, entitled "Human Rhythm Hip Hop Remix", was shot by Hype Williams. It features female rappers MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, and Yo-Yo, and was partially black-and-white and partially in color, a young Ray J made a cameo appearance in the video. Latter version eventually earned Brandy her first nomination for "Best Rap Video" at the 1995 MTV Video Music Awards.
The song was featured on Norwood's own series, Moesha in the pilot episode and the sang the theme song on the line where she follow her boyfriend Ohagi (now-deceased Merlin Santana). The song was also featured on the FOX police drama New York Undercover on September 29, 1994 two days after the release of Brandy's debut album.
Bute seriously tho, who remembers the dance?!!

Big Daddy Kane Says He Could Beat Rakim in a Battle "No Competition"
Gimmie Dat Throwback - Cameo - Word Up!
"Word Up!" is a funk/hip hop song written and originally recorded by Cameo in 1986. Due to its heavy play on American dance and R&B radio, as well as music video play on MTV (which has LeVar Burton as a police detective trying to arrest the band), the single became the band's most well-known hit.
From the album of the same name, "Word Up!" was Cameo's first US Top 40 hit, peaking at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 and also spent three weeks at number one on the US Hot Black Singles chart. "Word Up!" also spent one week at number one on the US Hot Dance Singles chart, and reached number three in the UK. The song was written by Larry Blackmon & Thomas Michael Jenkins.
Like the band's previous single, Single Life, Word Up! features a sample of the opening notes of Ennio Morricone's theme to The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

LOL @ LeVar Burton trying to be the hard hand of the law... and, that added cup on the pants? NO SIR!!
